My current avi is a well made, cute gif of a cute subject. It's recognizable as being mine, extremely usable as a reaction gif, and just is "(✿◠‿◠)" personified.
Originally I was thinking of screencapping some comments about it that have been posted on my wall over the past several months, and started to, but then stopped myself when I realized it was tacky and slightly disrespectful. But one of them that stood out to me was, "Everytime I see your avi I smile haha.", if that doesn't speak to my avi's power* and emotion evoking abilities I don't know what does.
Having a pleasant image that people respond to positively to is what is special about it. It's not shady, meme in nature, or a mangled image of my fave + Michael Jackson. Perfectly pleasant and lighthearted. Even as dry as my posts can get at times, having this avi I hope lightens the tone a bit. I'm never "seething" or anything when I post, I'm just being Miley it's always pretty light hearted and in fun.
*Even after I had her for a while, someone still decided to create a knock-off. Imitation is cute though. On the subject of how I wear my avatars, that's an important aspect of them to me. I wear them so long they become my Loud era red hair until I go through some sort of rebirth and switch to a new avatar.

An avatar should be more than just an image. It really can be a visual representation of the
user attached to it. My avatar is a visual representation of me as a user as it's of my favourite
artist, Kesha, who I'm very passionate about and towards, which can be seen through my posts.
The avatar, which shows Kesha blowing a kiss and then fading to white, is from the final scene
of her music video for title album track, "Animal" - my favourite song of all time. This is another
reason why I have chosen the avatar I have, as the song means a lot to me.
My avatar stands out because it's an animated gif, it's bright, it's not too long but not too short,
and it's of a person that the majority of ATRL are familiar with. It's one of those avatars that you
can't help but notice when scrolling down the page, but at the same time won't find distracting.

using my avatar as a gif for emphasis here and here. My avatar has also been favoured over other
members', as seen here.
Overall, my avatar is a clear representation of me, it's personal to my life, it stands out, and it's
already made an impact within the ATRL community. Plus, it's pretty, too!

Creativity is one of the most beautiful things in the world to me; anything that invokes creativity within me is something I find beautiful, and the sky has long been one of my greatest muses. It's magnificence, it's infinite span, it's pureness; all of it is astounding to me. Other than my own adoration of the sky, my infatuation with the song 'Stars Dance' by Selena Gomez was another reason I decided to choose the sky as a representation of myself. I can still remember the first time I heard it...I couldn't stop myself from smiling, and to this day, another song has never made me feel something so powerful on the first listen. I still feel chills during the bridge, and it never fails to make me happy when I'm down.
It might be hard to believe that a simple avatar could draw such powerful feelings, but I've come to find that it's the simplest things that make the biggest impact.

You can pretty much tell an avatar is mine based on the way its edited and the content.
I even managed to make rounded edges a "thing".
Most of my avatars are a reflection of my tastes or my thirsts . Hihi.
I also try to pick scenes that other people don't have so I don't get mistaken for someone else.

I've chosen this particular avatar for my entry.
This avatar shows my fave, Beyoncé on the Oprah show celebrating her 5 GRAMMY Awards for her solo debut album, Dangerously In Love. This era marked the beginning of a legacy that would touch and inspire people around the globe- a legacy that is still standing today, a little more than a decade later.
She certainly had a long way to go back then, but she was well aware of that and she had enough determination and enough of the know-how to achieve greater things.
She was never afraid of stepping outside her comfort zone or making mistakes.
Recently, ATRL hosted its first ever Hive Awards ceremony and I was voted "Best New Bee".
This award mirrors Beyonce's GRAMMY wins because it solidifies my status as a rising star with a lot to offer. In a way, I'm a lot like she was back in 03/04.
That's why I've chosen this avatar. It is an accurate representation of myself as an ANTM contestant and a site member.
I'm a bit of a newbie, but since I've joined the site I've made enough of a name for myself to where multiple people agree that I am a stand-out member among dozens of others that joined when I did.

However it is more than a dying ATRL fad. Yes my avatar was the first and original heptagon but

The main goal of an avatar is to use it to express your personality and have others identify it with you, and my avatar does this. Avi Challenge
I chose this as my avi, because with all the praise & recognition of the current Beyoncé's, Rihanna's,Katy Perry's, & Lady Gaga's alike, there's RARELY any recognition for legends like Whitney. This Avi is sort of a Tribute to Whitney, for inspiring me, and nearly all of our faves.
So far,many avi has already become a moderate hit around the forum, despite me just putting it on yesterday. My avi is usually used as a snarky comeback, & a shady rebuttal. Whether it's used or directed towards me, you'll know who's recently commented. & that is how it makes me stand out from the crowd,especially since only 1 or 2 other people have a Whitney gif as their avi. Not to mention it comes from one of my favorite movies of the decade, & her very last EVER . (Sparkle)

I'm downloading Photoshop once this challenge is over assuming I make it to the next round.
I bought photoshop for my ipad,(what I primarily use) a while ago, and I have no idea how to use it, or if it's even applicable to the stuff everyone else does in the game
