Yes. But in my opinion, God =/= religion. Things are much more easy and complicated at the same time.

Honestly, I've been thinking about things recently and I'm starting to lose belief in that. I've never been deeply religious or anything and I've pretty much always been 50/50 on this subject but... .

Not really. I grew up in an atheist/agnostic household and God was never something my family cared or talked about. Sometimes I do wonder if there's a higher power but that's about it.

Basically, as an idea it's just there. It doesn't concern me and it's not something I think about either.

Edit: A while ago I went through this phase of trying to find a religion I find appealing but I quickly realized religion and/or worshipping a deity isn't for me.

I don't have anything against people who believe in God, I just find them very gullible and - really - it's almost like a childlike quality, like never growing up from believing in Santa or the Tooth Fairy or Unicorns. The idea of God is in the same category as those for me. It's just something that man has invented to give something an explanation that doesn't really have a solid one, i.e. the creation of the Earth and the human race.

I have the same thoughts but the definition of 'God' is a supernatural so I think religions are politically correct.

However, I do not believe in some of the Church's teachings especially when they are the first to break these so-called preaches. I am in the state where I believe in God but I disagree with the Church, well at least our Church at times. Bunch of hypocrites, load of ******** at times I tell ya.

There are things like love and kindness. Things that cannot be positioned or explained by science. This is what God (and religion) is about. Actually, I don't really like to talk about religion, but , for example, how some religious people express their hate against homosexual people? This is not right. That's why I believe in God, but don't like to think about Him from the religion angle.
