I can't take those types seriously when they say they don't date black women It's usually something behind it. Like one in here saying he looks for natural hair and a good attitude that's why he does not date black women.

That's not true. Preferences are not biological they are environmental. You learn to like certain things from where you grew up in. In our society (Western) certain features which are Caucasian are considered the standard of beauty. You grew up on these things and you subconsciously recorded that growing up, so now you see these things as attractive. You can have a woman/man of color with the same features of a white person besides different skin tone, but would you still pick the white person? If yes you're judging by their skin not soley other features.

If we had a black person with light hair and eyes, tan skin and straight hair (which is common) are they ugly to you? Beauty is a result of our society not our genes. In fact this concept of beauty for love is a 20th century concept, so that even adds to the fact that it is a societal issue. Its not racist it's a prejudice.

I agree that what you are attracted to is not a choice, but that doesn't mean it's not racist. Racism is not always intentional. In fact, in today's society it usually isn't. Racism is an institution and racist attitudes have been internalized in our mindset, hense the phrase "everyone is racist".

No. There are races I don't find attractive most of the time. But, if I come across an individual within one of those races that I find attractive, then cool. However, I typically don't. I can't help what I am attracted to.
