I'll point out if we actually took a minute and looked at the other judges, you would see the same. (We normally don't, it's ok, we're pop-girl fanatics after all) Why does Blake always have country artists at the top of his list? Why does Adam have more rock-ish acts at his top? Why does Cee-Lo always have "alternative" acts at his top? It's their forte, it's what they're best at doing and handling. I will say though there's always exceptions to all accounts. (Dez Duron being the highest of X's third season. Chris Mann, an opera singer, the highest of her second.)
And she should not attempt to promote her music now? It's business, and a great show to promote an album. Blake and Adam got massive success from promoting theirs, why shouldn't Christina try also? Of course, it hasn't worked out as lovely.
You should know out of many others how everyone is different. I say this, as Shakira is one of the most unique in this business and no one can compare in many areas as she. Especially something like a marriage which is so personal and different for everyone.
