Some of you are taking offense to a LIST. The LIST is absolutely correct as it is based on the US Hot 100. Whether or not that is the best indicator can be argued, but that is not the point here. Who really cares if Hilary Duff was a one hit wonder or not? If you listen to people only because they had top ten hits, then you really need some expansion of your music tastes.

I don't think the hot 100 matters in this case because some of these people are more known for songs that didn't make it to the top 40 andwhy does the top 40 decides if a song is a hit or not.

Mandy Moore is more known for Candy then I Wanna Be WIth You and plus that was her biggest song on TRL it's her signature hit.

Hilary Duff has hits with So Yesterday #42, Come Clean #35, Wake Up #29, and With You #25 so tell me how that makes her one.

Considering most of Terror Squad have solo hits should make them ineligible for this list.

And the same goes for Marques Houston who has many hits outside of Clubbin which barely hit the top 40. I wouldn't even consider Lumidee one seeing as how She's Like The Wind did. Here's who I think are some true one hit wonders:

one hit wonders arnt artist who have just hit #1 once, its artists who have only like one significant hit, it could be Top 5/10 anything not just #1.

You can't really deny the fact that "One hit wonder" does not mean the hit must hit #1? When u read newspaper, they say "Apologize" is a hit in US, but did it hit #1? No!
