Late to the party but my first kpop encounter was with the Boys when it got onto the YT mainpage. I HATED it and was turned off. But then gna's black and white got popular and I heard Davichi's love and war, then I got more receptive to it. I stumbled upon gee and my fate was sealed.
My first k-pop songs were TVXQ!'s Wrong Number and Nobody, i kinda ignored the Wonder GIrls and went all in with TVXQ!, i downloaded their whole discography, searched for performances, etc...
The group was so much different when Hangeng was in it though. He was such an energetic performer and a super talented dancer. Luckily they're still great even though they now have 2 additional irrelevant members.

True. One of the only positive thing to come out of the Hangeng incident is that SM (finally) pushed Henry and Zhou Mi out to the forefront over the past few years.
EDIT: Is this actually you? That's pretty sweet, you can dance!
I didn't mean Dylan Jacob as an insult, by the way. I genuinely thought at first it was him. But slay!
