is Columbia Records affiliated with Nickelodeon because I see a lot of current and past Nick stars on their roster. They even released the iCarly soundtracks through Columbia. If that's the case, I'd be kind of surprised that they didn't want her to attend the KCAs this year. Idk why she wouldn't. Even if new music isn't released until a few months, she should start the promo as early as now.
