The one time I appealed for a WP reversal through a help request, I never actually heard anything back from the mods. After a week and a half I just assumed they'd denied it but like a week later I checked my warnings tab and saw it had been reversed.
If you want to hear back from a mod about a help request, they recommend you indicate that
in the help request.
