I didn't read the posts on tumblr or what not, but I'd give the benefit of the doubt and say that they probably wanna hear something different. The problem we have with saying that is that even his fans don't know what they want from Usher from in a consensus so if Usher is to listen to them, he gets mixed messages from everyone. Gift and a curse for being so multi-talented
@Patricia: I don't hate JD, I think his writing is fantastic. I don't like his recent production work though. There's nothing wrong with sounding 2005 but it sorely lacks something. His public persona is just lol-worthy though.
As for Rico, I don't mind if he works with him as I think he's a decent writer, but I personally don't think he's all that like I said earlier.
I don't know if you guys follow The Breakfast Club, but they interviewed JD a year ago, and they pointed out some real **** there. The guy is 40 but a man-child.
I kind of want to stop being online now.
