She's credited as 'performer' on a song titled "Fighter" over at ASCAP. It's written by Audra Mae & the Swedish production trio Play Production. That doesn't necessarily mean it's made the cut for the next album tho; Pop writers have a tendency to jump the gun whenever an artist puts a song on hold.

And there's another one titled "Lighthouse" written by Felicia Barton & Meghan Kabir. You'll just have to take my word for that one though because it's not registered at any public repertoire yet. Carrie's had both of these on hold for quite some time now

I wonder if the album covers are different there. I'm still interested in buying a Taiwanese copy of Blown Away to see if the album cover is different like it is on Amazon and eBay.

Any news on the new album? Still slightly confused BA stopped at SYA, although it was a neat and tidy era with the best songs as singles, WOW or DYTAM couldve had a shot

I think the pregnancy rumors are ******** because if so we'd hear something by now, and the sources claiming she's pregnant aren't reliable at all.

We're all confused why the album stopped at four singles when she easily could've had a fifth single to keep us going for Q3/4 of last year, or maybe even six singles to be honest - would've easily helped sell the album.

No news on five except for a few rumored collaborators so far.

Chris: I did this writing retreat in France for ASCAP where they get a group of writers and producers out to a castle to write together. And got in a room with my good buddy Brett James and our friend Priscilla Renea. We were talking and someone said ‘lets do something kinda crazy’ and I think I said “I’ve got a good feeling of doing something bad,” or something like that and Priscilla reacted to it and said, “Oh, my God, that could be the song…” and they just started rolling with it from there, like pro Tennis players.”

Ah well, atleast theres the Miranda duet to look forward to. Is it just me or does she take more time off between albums than most others? I remember it feeling like it was so long since a CU album came out when BA was released

Her first three albums there weren't that much of a wait.

Blown Away was long, and this one seems to be just as long as her last album.

The fact that shes only one of 3/4 relevant females on country radio kinda warrants her to take a long time between eras. People notice when shes gone.

If she just started recording / writing & we get a album this fall .. the wait isn't that long tbh.
Thank God for tours and singles / music videos because they held us over until the past recent few months.

I am expecting a single from Carrie in late summer with the Miranda single being early summer.
