The thing is this is probably really common with eastern entrants, most of them are just too clever to say anything (I still remember Ell/Nikki avoiding the gays in Azerbaijan question when they won )

Extremely ignorant to joke about another competitor so directly like that though. He wasn't my favourite but if he was I don't think I'd be able to vote for him after this, even though politics shouldn't come into it I'd still feel guilty

So now Armenians (who most of them ARE homophobes) are all trying to find excuses like - oh the interview is fake, Aram and Armenia are not homophobic
