Taylor scores two day ALBUM radio deal through BBC Radio 1 & 2

Taylor Swift has scored a special weekend radio deal through the biggest radio company in the United Kingdom. Her label, Tigerlily Recordings, were in talks with BBC Radio all weekend about a radio deal and Swift revealed through twitter today that both BBC Radio 1 & 2 would be playing her entire album at noon and at eight o'clock for both Saturday and Sunday. Swift recorded a special message before her non commercial break segment took over, saying, "I'm Taylor Swift and right now you're about to hear my brand new album Coven 13 exclusively through BBC Radio. The entirety of it as well. I hope you guys like it and if you want you can pick it up in your local store. Once again, thanks BBC Radio for this amazing opportunity!



Track by track album play on Capital FM

Taylor Swift was live this morning on 102.7 KIIS FM from a Los Angeles radio studio owned by stadion where she did a track by track review for her album Coven 13. Swift was broadcasted on the LA airwaves as after Swift would introduce each track, they would play the song. The entire standard edition of the album was played and we are told most of the songs on the album has received over seventeen million audience impressions.

About 'Born Into Sin'
"This one is one of the darkest songs on the albm. I wrote it about the topic of being gay or even bisexual. I think the song speaks volumes and that's why I put it as the opening track. The message is that your happiness is always before anyone else's. That you should be happy with what you are and that it's okay to be gay or bi. It's just a song where I think there should be acceptance not only within you but people around you."

About 'Death of Me'
"I recorded this song wiht Brendon, who you guys might know is my boyfriend. This song was really awkward to record and write since we were basically writing about each other to each other's faces. It was a little more awkward for him because I got to write my verses before him. But the song is one of my favorite because of the production."

About 'Loving The Wrong Way'
"You've all heard this one. It was a #1. This song is pretty self explanatory from it's title. But this song was one of the last I recorded and wrote for the album."

About 'Let's Die Tonight!'
"This is a pretty cynnical song and I wrote it originally entirely different than it ended up. It was a ballad that didn't even have that title but you can thank Brendon for the rock version he convinced me to do that's on the album today. Here's 'Lets Die Tonight!'"

About 'Christian'
"This happens to be perhaps the darkest song on the album. It kind of explores the topic of religion. I'd been really afraid to talk about my views on religion and you know homosexuality until now. I was lucky enough to write this song with one of my biggest inspirations Stevie Nicks"

About 'Lose Me In The Dark'
"This is one of the lighter songs of the album. It talks about being confident in yourself and that if someone doesn't make up their mind they're going to lose you not only in the day but the dark. It's a really complicated song."

About 'Bitter Reality'
"This was one of the harder songs to write. It basically describes my fear of my relationship with Brendon. He was going through a rough time and I was thinking that he'd leave. That this was all too over my head and I'd come crashing down. It'd all be a bitter reality. Luckily that didn't happen."

About 'Swarovski'
"You guys know all about this one. Diamonds are a girl's best friend!"

About 'Taylamour
"This is another like 'Swarovski'. It promtoes self confidence. This song started out as me kind of just goofing around. I was in the studio and this french guy came in and was like like 'La amour' or something like that and I just blurted out 'Taylamour' and the rest is just... history!"

About 'Daughter of Tragedy'
"This song is my personal favorite from the album. I wrote it in third person about myself and it was real wake up call not only for me but him too. This song makes me really emotional and I have no idea why. It's very rock and cynnical and it's one of the tracks I'm most proud of."

About 'Murder My Heart'
"This song didn't even originally make the album. I kind of hated it compared to the other songs to be real. But you know after I gave it a bit of a face lift it kind of fit with the record. It wouldn't have if I had more time to record another track in it's place but yeah."

About 'Sabbath'
"I recorded this song specfically for the theme of the album. And I found that with the theme it kind of suited the dark situation I'd been in as of late. This song was perhaps the song that helped me really picture the album as it is now."

About 'Coven 13'
"This song was the final track I recorded for the album. It's basically the entire album in a track. Not literally but it really is the eptitome of the entire theme of the album. That dark and twisted vibe you get from it. That's basically what it's about. Also I want to thank you guys so much for listening to my track by track review of Coven 13 on 102.7 KIIS FM"

MØ appears on Jools Holland Show

MØ continues promoting her latest single all around UK, as she stops by Later... with Jools Holland show to perform the song, and to give an interview as well. Throughout the show, MØ appeared on it two times - the first time, when she showed up to give an interview right after the show started, and the second time when the episode was almost over. MØ seemed to be excited to be on that show as she gave an interview with a smile on her face. Her accent also improved as well, and her ability to speak without it just proved that she has been working on that. On the stage, MØ appeared alone, without band, as she performed a whole new version of the song, and as her fans on Twitter guess - the night version of Bikini Daze. There were some night versions of her previous songs on her debut album No Mythologies To Follow as well. The instrumental that was played during her performance was really calm and simple, but everything mash-uped and became like a perfect haunting song. It was truly magical and beautiful.

Jools: Hello MØ! How are you doing? Thank you for being on our show.
MØ: Thank you for having me! It's really pleasure, thank you for having me on your show!
Jools: So, your new song, Bikini Daze, just debuted at number two on CAL charts. How does that feel?
MØ: It feels honestly amazing. I'm just another alternative singer who is coming from a small country Denmark, and it all feels so surreal, because I wasn't expecting such a success. I have to thank for my lovely label, Indigo Record, who has been treating me really good, and I'm super thankful for that, I wouldn't have done this without their help, their support, their effort in making this song a hit.
Jools: Speaking of charts, your song was blocked by Taylor Swift and Paige Elliot. Did you feel mad at them?
MØ: No, of course not, I'm not like that. I know a lot of people will say that I'm faking this, but seriously, I'm happy with number two, because it's an amazing thing that I even get to chart, and look - I'm above Azealia Banks, Beyonce... Plus, both of those girls are my inspirations, so I could never be mad.
Jools: Do you like Taylor though?
MØ: She's an amazing girl, and her talent is super rare, I met with her in the studio, and, God, her ability to sing any kind of song, Pop, Indie, Country... That ability is great. And, plus, she will be featured on my upcoming album. Yeah, I do like her.
Jools: So, what's next for MØ?
MØ: I'm going to keep promoting Bikini Daze, then I'll release a second single, and then, I'll probably release a album. There's a lot of coming up, but people just need to stay patient, everything is on it's way. But yeah, a lot of stuff is going down within next three weeks, and I'm super excited about everything.

 

MØ appears on France’s Next Top Model

Earlier today, MØ announced via her Twitter, that she filmed France's Next Top Model episode last month ago, and that it will be airing today on French TV channel. Right after her Later... with Jools Holland appearance in UK, the French TV channel aired a France's Next Top Model, in which MØ appears as well. During her appearance, MØ gave a lot of great advices to people who were getting ready for their challenge/photoshoot, and she also said to them, that they will have to be doing a photoshoot with her. The photoshoot was focused on royalties, dresses and being fancy, so MØ showed up on the set with a beautiful black tight gown. Her hair was pulled into a top knot. MØ looked perfect with this royal look, and it was unexpected to see her in such a dress, because MØ always wears something more hipster, more casual, more comfortable, and now, she showed up with a tight black dress, with make-up on her face and without her famous high braided ponytail. It was a shock, because nobody has ever seen MØ in such an outfit, and plus, she looked stunning. During the photoshoot, MØ did an amazing job with posing and stuff, and she looked like a completely different person, just because of her outfit. After the photoshoot, MØ dissappeared from the show for a bit, and then she appeared once again, when she guest-judged and decided who's on top, and who's going home with other three judges.

JUNGLEPUSSY HOSTS/PERFORMS AT MAD TV REUNION

The highly popular skit show which ended in 2009 had a 20 year reunion last night which was hosted by Junglepussy. Attracting millions of fans from both the past and present, the show was a big hit for both the people at Mad Tv and Junglepussy. Cracking joke after joke, the crowd went wild for this fellow New Yorker. When it was time to perform, Junglepussy wore a Calvin Klein jersey gown and prada heels as she performed her new single Slammin' to the huge crowd.
