yep..danity kane peaked with show stopper in germany at #27 and in austria at #61, with their 1st album danity kane, they peaked at # 50 in germany...since that song and album they haven's another one in der germanspeaking counrys and europe...its because they didn't promote their new album...and thats sad...because i am from austria and know danity kane  ... but just with the mtv show they wouldn't be famous all over the world..its their own fault if they didnt promote worldwide....the rihanna/ciara thing..hmm I like both...and rihanna is successfull all over the wold...ciara hasn't so many hit singles in europe...that's sad...I hope with her new album she will get her breakthrough....

and as far as danity kane. they've been around for a few year so who's to say they won't be more successful. in time i think they will be real hot. in time. dc was around for a good while before really hitting. most good artist don't blast off top.
yeah this cd should be crossover...either way she will still do multiplatnum and continue

^ Very true. DC didn't become as famous as they are now until they released "Survivor", the album. But Destiny's Child had songs that were doing well, Say My Name and No No No were hits, then Survivor made them massive. But I can't see Danity Kane reaching them heights, they tried in the UK with Damaged and Show Stopper, both never reached the top 100. Damaged had an official release in the UK in early May. No radio play or anything. It's really sad, Damaged is one of the best songs this year!

DK are bunch of forgettable girls. They have no star quality like Destiny's Child had. They have no Beyonce. They have nothing. And FYI, Destiny's Child debut single "No No No" was a worldwide hit, Top 3 in the US and Top 5 in the UK. They made it big since day one. I don't see the potential in the girls that I prefer to call Trannity Kane AT ALL, and yes, "Damaged" is horrible. Watch them to split next year.

^ No No No was only a hit in the US and the UK, and you have to remember, songs that entered the UK Top 10, didn't always stick around for long? Danity Kane are awesome, but I've never thought they were better than DC, DK are horrible live and let's face it, don't have great voices, but Destiny's Child did.

I see some star quality in them but if they will ever reach Destiny Child status, I'm iffy on that. As Mazen said, they don't have a Beyonce, thier leader is Aubrey O' Day and that should say enough. But I won't put them down this early in thier career, I think they will be very sucessful with this current album in the US, I don't understand why "Damaged" wasn't a worldwide smash, I mean I can understand "Show Stopper" that was pure fad, but "Damaged" has international appeal, but we will see where time will take them.

Yes I can see all the big positions! 3 Top 10's! I don't see why people are saying I'm wrong, I didn't want to start anything, I was just saying that Danity Kane had a single charting outside the US. I want to leave it at that
