I want to see Usher make a group and see if he can do what N'Sync did ...
Does anyone know how many albums of 8701 from Usher were sold?

I don't like Madonna or Britney so I'll leave that comparison alone but based on their pop culture merits I agree to an extent.
Justin Timberlake is the Prince of Pop.... Chris Brown can't sing or dance and will NEVER come close to even being in the running for it. Usher is more Bobby Brown that MJ. I know alot of yall are too young to really remember when Bobby Brown was a huge solo superstar and not Whitney's husband but if you go study Bobby Brown, you can clearly see thats where Usher gets most of his influence from besides MJ & James Brown. Bobby Brown was pretty much the anti-Michael Jackson.
I would say Aaliyah was the new Janet before her untimely death....... Ciara has a LONG way to go before she could even be considered. She has to become an artist first and put out songs with some depth and not that cookie cutter **** she does. She has to learn some new dance moves besides the same ol crunk **** she does. She needs a complete evolution/transformation. I wanna like Ciara because we do need somebody to replace Janet but Ciara gotta get her **** in order before I could ever say she's the next Janet. In fact if Mya could ever get her **** straight, I think her and Ciara could have a nice rivalry for the title.

Usher's album is those who are fans of true contemporary R&B well that's at least the way I see it and my dawg Playboy lol. Of course he was going to fall off a little bit after making a classic the great ones always do. Remember when Michael Jackson released Bad after Thriller.

Yep that's why they call Usher the king of R&B now. As long as he doesn't snort Coke like the former King of R&B did he'll be fine

But sorry you have to work for sucess and that's what Ciara and Chirs are doing, Ciara will be the next Janet, trust me, time will tell the truth.

Monica has nothing to do with this, you IDIOT. Why do you keep bringing her up in threads that has NOTHING to do with her??? Are you that pathetic to get at me because I don't see things as you?? Monica has more success than Ciara bottomline, she has SOLO #1 hits not hits with rappers, she has a Grammy for actually singing not a Grammy for being a backup dancer for a **** and her first 2 albums alone have sold more than Ciara's entire career. I mean you wanted people to bring their opinions about the thread but as soon as they don't agree with you, you do some lame attack to discredit them. If its the same ol ******** then let me do me and you can simply ignore me and keept it moving DAMN. Grow the **** up already!!!

DEAD. Tiearra, you just got OWNED.
"Here I Stand" isn't going anything to make Usher "legendary", and Chris Brown still needs to hit puberty so his voice can mature, so Justin is pretty much in a lock for the new "King of Pop" role. He managed to latch to a mega-producer and drop an somewhat groundbreaking album (for Pop, that is.) with FS/LS.
Ciara? No. She har minimal vocal ability, can't pick decent singles and she should be blessed that there's no real R&B competiton at this moment. Try as you might, Britney ( ) has the pop world on lock (even with her currenly being in a mental state of emergency) and Ciara's automatically lumped with R&B singers, where she falls by the wayside. Beyonce & Rihanna are currently shutting **** down, so Kelly Rowland , Ciara, Amerie Mya, Solange, and my favorite, Ashitty are all doomed to hell with their career anyhways. Ciara's not going to last as much as you think.
After Beyonce releases her upcoming trilogy of albums she all recorded in a hour, Rihanna will probably dominate the Pop/R&B spot she's successfully lined up for herself

My opinion:
Britney is already the next madonna. Britney has the music, controversy, style. Britney is a light in music industry, all people are always talking about her. You can't deny it. She has the power to be in the industry for a long time. People saying she hasn't longevity look so ridiculous.
Chris brown can sing and he is better than usher for me. But next MJ is Justin timberlake, he is so talent.
Rihanna is like the next janet but janet did another style when she started. Ciara is not the next janet , NO. I don't see ciara in the industry in ten years.

Ciara has amazing songs. It's a real talent. Sometimes better than rihannna. Maybe ciara will have more longevity than rihanna. Rihanna is goin very quickly , and ciara is doin things on time.

What other group does Ciara fall in? You can't group her with Beyonce, Alicia Keys (whom I forgot to mention!), & Rihanna who are at least four-times as successful as Ciara, so placing her with the "flops" seems to be the better idea. To say that Ciara's this AMAZING SONGSTRESS WITH IMMENSE TALENT.!!!!!SHE HAS A AMAZING FANBASE AND WILL BE AROUND FOR YEARS TO COME is a bit of a stretch. Be real Tiearra. In a few years, no one will be checking for Ciara, like they will be for Beyonce, Alicia Keys and to my personal amazement, Rihanna.
Let's look at the bright side though Tiearra; she can dance and depending on the day of the week, she usually looks good. Too bad she's still suffering from those "shenis" tranny rumors

Never put Ciara on the same line with these beyonkified *****s. She's multi-talented and her talent will shine one day.
