WOAH at this Crayon Pop news. What an awesome achievement for them. I'm not sure how much it'll help them in the states, if at all, but Korea will love this. Korean fans love when their bias groups are given international opportunities like this. Even if they aren't my bias group, I'm happy any time KPOP is given an opportunity to shine.

Start with the groups Big Bang and 2NE1. They're more westernized than other groups so listening to them will help you get accustomed to the foreign language. After that, you can branch out to groups like Exo, Shinee, f(x), SISTAR, SNSD, B.A.P, BEAST, etc.

Odds are if you YouTube search "KPOP", up will pop the more popular songs, which are popular for a reason: people in and out of Korea like them. From my experience, people telling you what to watch doesn't work because they're recommending what they like. You've gotta stumble upon things yourself so that you can form your own opinion.

Would it be a good idea for us to agree on a list of like 10 or so songs the average ATRLer would like, and post it in the OP or something? I think it could be a lot more organized than everyone suggesting 50 of their faves songs, and a lot less imposing. We could even make split lists like "If you're a Gaga/Rihanna/Adele fan, then these 5-10 songs might be of interest".
