Right? The intro is one of the best parts of the song, and, like you said, it sets up the song. The song is only 3:52 with the intro, so there really isn't a problem with it being too long. They better not make a radio edit that cuts it.

this will probably flop.. i want gaga to have better songs. her songs on artpop have a very commercial sound and i don't like it. none of the songs on the album sounds new to me.

sorry it's just not great. she needs to expand territory and make better and more original music if she wants to be acknowledged.

'Venus' would have been a far better choice because it's way catchier and I've actually seen people on the Internet quote lyrics from it.
