Is it a chance that she will win in the album awards at the Billboard awards?
I'm curious too. We know that she's going to be nominated for next year's Grammy's but what about the other awards shows? Like VMA or Billboard awards? When is the deadline for those?
BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS: Lots of chatter about a pair of upcoming TV music specials: Clear Channel’s inaugural iHeartRadio Music Awards, set for 5/1 on NBC, and Dick Clark Productions’ Billboard Awards, skedded for 5/24 on ABC. The talk centers on what big acts will appear on each special as the producers of the two shows try to load up on acts that can move the needle. Managers and labels are caught in the crossfire as both shows essentially compete for the same talent. The conventional wisdom is that the iHeart team, led by John Sykes and Tom Poleman, has a big advantage over the BB team fronted by DCP’s Mark Shimmel because of the myriad marketing opportunities that the multi-platform iHeart entity can dangle. The entire industry is staying tuned as this contest plays out over the course of the next few weeks. (3/18a)
iHeartRadio (mostly pop radio) will have a major advantage because many artists will be scared of being sabotaged by pop radio, so basically artists will be forced to show up or perform.

Watch Billboard stop counting radio airplay for revenge.

Bey should do both.
Billboard would accomplish nothing with changing the rules. At the end of the day, people don't go to Billboard's Hot 100 web page to see what to listen. They'll buy what they hear on the radio.
