Low scores don't mean it will flop. It just means it isn't good. FD was garbage too imo. Critics sometimes get things wrong so it still might be good. I won't know till i see it when it comes out at Redbox.

The Hunger Games are on pair with Harry Potter in terms of quality and critical aclaim...

The other Franchises can't come close... (although Twilight series was hated by the critics, its cultural impact and box office success are very impressive)

PA is utter trash. Like I said though sometimes movie critics get things wrong but most of the time they don't imo.

I knew they wouldn't get a high rating. The critics stay pressed. We all knew this movie wouldn't win an academy award, but I feel it's sorta unfair for anyone to call it a bad movie who hasn't read the book, and I'm sure the critics haven't flipped a page.

sis, Harry Potter had a better critical aclaim that the one The Hunger games is receiving(so far) chechk out the scores at Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes, Harry Potter won a lof of BIG awards from SAG, BAFTAs, Critics Choice and other Critic awards(i'm leaving out the fan voted because you know... those mean ****), besides it got MULTIPLE Oscar Nominations + it had an OBVIOUS better Commercial reception(Worldwide, you know, there's more in the world than just the states)

quality is subjective considering they are different, The potter franchise started as a children's book and finished the series with a lot of young adult influences whereas the hunger games trilogy is purely young adult

but CRITICAL ACCLAIM is better for Harry Potter than for Hunger Games(so far)
