Don't know what I'm talking about? Google it.
Once again. Beyonce is a very good student, who sometimes always get's an A for her efforts. She exceeds very well on others ideas and makes them look very good.

And do you think Janet invented dancing?

The stupidity
- yes thats exactly why her first 2 albums flopped
- yes thats exactly why latoya, jermaine, and who ever else tried to form a solo career had success
-yes totally because being michael jakcsons brother automatically means you will sell!!
Janet was ******** all over michael in the 90s so lets not

NO FEMALE was doing dance in video like Janet was. Yes Paula tried, but she wasn't giving you Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, or Pleasure Principle. Janet revolutionized synchronized dance in videos for females.
Janet is why females not only had to sing, but PERFORM.
-The Head Mic
-Backup dancers
-Complicated Choreography
All Janet. Not even Michael was really doing it. Don't believe me, watch his Bad Tour and then watch Janet's Rhythm Nation tour. Janet was revolutionizing it.

One question to you Janet fans. I'm not the biggest expert of the Jackson family, but would she be known to us today if Michael didn't exist? Or maybe she would be more famous? Or would she just be a bit less famous?
Just wanna know what the answer to this is cuz if I start a thread it would most likely get take down.

It looks like she just set the standards for singing lower and dancing higher. Which caused Britney and Ciara?

Would Janet be known without Michael? Who knows. Michael's push to fame came from their father Joe, not his own inhibitions. Janet was also pushed by their father. So maybe.
Would she be more famous? No. Janet's true claim to fame didn't come from her brother, it came from her own endeavors. Nothing she did was truly like Michael. She made a name for herself.
Janet actually in my opinion could of been MORE famous had she not taken so many breaks unlike many artist in her contemporary. It worked out in giving her much more standout longevity with her eras though. Something many girls lack today.

She would have been more Successful, because some people probably would have went out of their way to not buy her records because they think MJ got her success

Yes and no.
Beyonce also would not be Beyonce if she didn't dance and perform and do her runway walks, and swing hair. (Janet was doing all of that) and Beyonce doesn't sing low.
I'm not going to say Janet is the ONLY female who made girls have to perform, we have tina turner and madonna as well. But when it comes to the formula as to how to get it done, most girls use Janet's. Including Beyonce in many ways.
-Backup dancers mimicking the same choreography
-Pyro
-Head Mic
-Diva Walk
-Give dramatics, do that long pause and stare on stage, etc. etc
All done by Janet while Beyonce was still in Diapers.

Janet didn't want a career in the first place, it wasn't until she purged her father when she finally got success as started to embrace it.

The fact that the MSCSWT did amazingly well, particularly the 1st leg, where she had no music out and her last era flopped by her standard, should give you all an idea of Bey's overall impact. If everything goes well she'll have the highest grossing tour by a black artist in a long while, this says a lot about the impact and well earned reputation of Bey as one of the greatest performers alive..

I think she would be more famous. In the US she was more sucessful than him from 1995 to 2001 and also kinda more respected. However, MJ 'killeed' her career in Europe. HIStory sold 5 millions in the US and 15 millions outside. He has always been sucessful in Europe, Janet was too but a lot less than him. She had everything, the talent, the image, the hits but MJ was just bigger.
Still we can't really know. They both had an impact and used to share their ideas together.

Who does Bey have to beat to make her the best black touring artist of all time? Tina?

Michael was bigger than everyone outside the US (sans the Beatles) though.

Looking at Bey's tour receipts and universal acclaim by critics, fans and even fellow celebs, especially her current one,she is not doing to badly for someone who was in diapers when Janet did all these things
