What's touring got to do with the discussion? Those albums are still referenced in artists work, so people clearly listen to them.

I hope this was a troll response because using photos of an artist doing something that a previous artist has done shows no credibility of their relevancy. I could see if said artist stated that they were inspired by Janet but if not, i don't see how this is a valid source.

I feel like the Janet stans are overexaggerating what Janet was. Her impact caused her to sell the same amount of albums Beyoncé has in a times where Mariah/Celine/Michael/Whitney/Prince and practically anyone could sell monstrous amounts.

Beyoncé is doing it in a time where album sales are minuscule because of singles/piracy. She has the #1 best selling album WW of the year, which would be equivalent to 20M+ during Janet's time.
