I had to do it. I just read that they include shipments. This is what I had it at earlier this morning when MusiCharts released their figures.

It all comes down to not actually having the figures and being modest rather than inflating. It says the report includes physical shipments. MusiCharts sales aren't far off from the actual sales.

So you mean to tell me MusicCharts/mediatraffic unofficial sites, which are made up by people who have too much time on their hands, that no credible source uses know more about sales than IFPI, who's been doing this for over 80 years, who actually is a credible source that other credible sources use?

You're acting like I took a million off her sales. It's a difference of a few hundred thousand. And IFPI includes shipments. And MusiCharts sales compared to Mediatraffic are closer to her actual sales. I prefer to remain modest with her figures rather than getting excited and inflating them based off of shipments.

Well iTunes exclusive (where we knew exact sales) kinda proved those "unofficial" charts to be more or less accurate. In fact, they're better since they're unable to obtain shipments. This way, they don't mix them like every other "official" source like IFPI and record labels.

Oh and if we went with IFPI, we'd have to acknowledge that ARTPOP sold 2.3 million albums. I say no ma'am.

And how do you know this? Where is this stated at? Is this a fact or an assumption? That's what I'm asking. That's you, sis. I prefer to use figures from actual credible sources who have been doing this for over 80 years, who's actually known worldwide, instead of a made up site that any one of us could run.
