Hilary releases a movie? It has to star someone else a billion times famous than her for her to even be noticed by the end. People are walking out "hey wasn't that Lizzie chick in there?". Despite that show ending years ago, only means thats the last time anyone knew about her.
Lindsay is instantly noticed, obviously, because she gets a lot more important and star roles. Whether she's trashy or not, its the truth.
As for music, without her loyal kiddie fans she's nothing. Hence why you continue to reference back to the days where her music was somewhat relevant.

The question was whether "bossy" would be a hit or flop. So the Lindsay lovers all barged in saying "iT'lL bE a HiT111!1!1" when they obviously haven't seen her track record. Just because some people didn't agree, didn't mean they were bitter. Especially not Hilary Duff fans. lol Lindsay would be very happy if she had Hilary's sales & chart positions, thank you very much.
You're wrong about the movie comment as well. All the reviews regarding Hilary's character in "War Inc." were nothing but praise & she was VERY clearly noticed. They were glad for the change from her previous roles.
"With Love" just came out last year & it peaked at #24. Based on downloads or not, that is very good for someone who "nobody cares about" as you say. Plus, "Dignity," again, outsold ALMP, so I don't even have to reference Hilary's days in 2003 or 2004, because even in 2007, she proved she has more selling power than Lindsay. You're the one that keeps going on about it.

Oh, and do I have to repeat that I know Hilary's first album was far more successful than Lindsay's? Hope not. Cause I also don't want to repeat that Hilary was a Disney's puppet just like Miley Cyrus is now, and that's why she had that much success. After she abandoned her Disney image... BOOM, 3rd album sales.

I don't know what he was rambling on about. "Yeah" was the big hit around that time & "Toxic" would have been too if digital sales were as big as they were now. "Come Clean" may have cracked the top 5, but it had no chance at the top 3. Either way, it would have been a huge success.
Anyway, Hilary abandoned her Disney image back in 2005 when "Most Wanted" was released. She didn't want to be played on Disney Channel, but since she she was still just 17, her Disney could play them with the agreement from her label. That's the only connection (playing her videos) between Hilary & the Disney image after the Lizzie McGuire deal fell through back in 2003. She even got super skinny & horse looking around that time. The only videos that could have been associated would be "Wake Up" & "Beat Of My Heart." (BOMH was played considerably less than "Wake Up.")
According to your logic, since Drama Queen (That Girl) & "First" were released to Disney Channel (not to mention her doing the Disney film, "Herbie: Fully Loaded") , Lindsay didn't "abandon her Disney Image" until mid 2005 either.
Neither of them built their music career on their own. Both were actresses before. So that comment was wrong as usual. They only got recording contracts because of their popularity. Lindsay also used Disney for two of her music videos (Her first & fourth). They were both pretty much in the same boat.

I said Lindsay launched her MUSIC career on her own. She was a Disney movies star just like Hilary - The difference is Hilary also used Disney for her music career. Not to mention Lindsay never tried to play the innocent little teenage Disney girl to sell albums.
Oh, and Lindsay's first official single from her first studio album is 'Rumors', and not those awful songs from her bad movies like 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' or something.

Hilary still acts as the same girl she used to, I doubt she's an angel, & she's admitted to drinking, but I don't think that was an act at all. She just has morals & doesn't do scandalous things for attention to keep her name in the spotlight.
Lindsay never needed to pretend to be anything. She couldn't pull of the a "good girl" act if she tried. But she always craved attention & that's what she's gotten. She doesn't have anything to fret about though, she get the tabloids attention round the clock & I'm sure all celebs CRAVE that kind of attention.
BTW - Call DQ (That Girl) whatever you want, that's still the song that introduced her to the music business.

I'm not a loon, I just stick up for my favorite artists. But, I really don't see why people's moral or being called in to represent album sales. It really doesn't make sense to me at all. Can we just all get along and enjoy Hilary and Lindsay. Or, at least, enjoy which one we like.
