Firstly I'm most definitely sure that 2011 would have been the seven year mark - the transition from Luc to Taylor actually, as Y&I references "six whole years" - and secondly, I'm rather inclined to believe that BN was written or finished more in 2012 and "7 years" is in retrospect, despite claims to the contrary. Then again, the "six whole years" in Y&I may have also been in retrospect if the series of Luc affairs had ended BEFORE 2010. So tl;dr it's complicated and we can't be sure.
