Her strength isn’t built on the desire to prove a former flame wrong, nor is she pining for the attention of a man. She’s in the game for herself, driven by the desire to be the best and have it all.

Reading that Beyonce "essay" was the greatest source of second hand embarrassment since the Born This Way Ball. I'm actually appalled a 30something woman with so many resources could write that and deem it worthy of being published as a serious piece.
