Yes it is. The fans are listening to the song. If they didn't she wouldn't be collecting the money from Spotify for reaching a number of plays therefore earning the paycheck they send her. The consumers are the reason she is even getting a check in the first place.

If and when Pretty Hurts and Jealous are released and she performs them, I can see another #1 single. Its almost impossible to get a #1 without performing on a tv show or lots of radio play.
