I loved it. I think that considering he does rock music, I really liked the change and as soon as I knew who was performing "Skyfall", I knew it was going to be a really strong performance. His voice was great. It's obviously not Adele; no one will ever top her when it comes to singing her own songs. But he did a damn good job. The only thing I didn't like was that really long note at the end. When Adele does it, she holds her breath all the way through and doesn't have to stop for air, but he did really quickly and that pause just made it seem awkward. His performances are consistent, though, and I thought the song suited his voice really well.
