I feel the fascination comes from the weirdness but it's still cute/pretty, similar to J-Pop's Kyary. Plus who doesn't love the interesting bops we are served? It's a breathe of creative fresh air from all the serious.

There is nothing to understand sis you either like them or don't.

I personally love them not only because they are an AS sub-unit but because they always deliver something different with their concepts and their style is very cute/camp which is extremely refreshing. They've managed to stay consistent with their material but always step it up with each release.

They're very consistent with their image and sound, yet they manage to always step it up with every single they have. I personally would want a new After School sub-unit soon to balance out the popularity between the members, and for a more powerful full group comeback. I love After School so much my dream job is to be the new CEO of Pledis.
