Pretty much, but you're talking to a group of people who want to paint her in a shady and negative light because it's more dramatic and interesting. I promise you, you're wasting your time. There is absolutely nothing to justify. As stated on the very first page, this isn't out of the ordinary. Lady Gaga is one of the most famous people in the world, so of course she is going to need lawyers for her charity. She's also going to spend money making a website and publicizing the charity. This stuff costs money. Gaga donated $1,000,000 of her own money at the beginning, and what do you know, that's where the money went.
If you're going to come for this charity, you also have to come for Harvard, Oprah, and the several other esteemed organizations that have backed this charity since 2012, including The California Endowment and MacArthur Foundation.
The own writer of the article says he believes that all of the money for publicity came from Gaga's own pocket, not from the received donations. You keep trying it

Exactly! People in here are making it seem like she used money from the people who have donated to support the fund When clearly even the article makes claims AGAINST that. They just don't know what they're talking about. There is no area specifically that money is even designated to go to. You can't just give money to LGBT people and assume it fixes things. uhm hello charities need funds and therefore they have to advertise and raise awareness just like any other company.

That is ALL it is about. If the money was collected from donation, then it would be a problem. But it wasn't, so there is no problem.
The aim of this charity was always unclear. I mean ...to 'empower' kids? What the hell? Why does she need all this money and how is that going to empower them? WHO is it going to help? Not even her fans seem to have been impacted by the foundation so who is?
People are literally not getting the point. Yeah it spent it's money on other things but you all are acting like she bought herself a 2015 luxury car or made a profit out of the money or something. The fact that there was money spent on other things doesn't negate the good that she is trying to make happen. Wow, I never knew all of Gaga's charities were so shady, it's great of her that she wants to help but maybe she should help herself before she can do the same for others.
