There is absolutely nothing to justify. As stated on the very first page, this isn't out of the ordinary. Lady Gaga is one of the most famous people in the world, so of course she is going to need lawyers for her charity. She's also going to spend money making a website and publicizing the charity. This stuff costs money. Gaga donated $1,000,000 of her own money at the beginning, and what do you know, that's where the money went.

If you're going to come for this charity, you also have to come for Harvard, Oprah, and the several other esteemed organizations that have backed this charity since 2012, including The California Endowment and MacArthur Foundation.

Gaga was the person this article specifies gave extra cash at the end of the day to cover costs. Non-profits are very expensive to start up, this is what happens and teething problems are inevitable. Gaga is performing for $2 million this week that she's donating as part of the BTWF night at SXSW - you guys are acting like she's breaking the law or stealing which is moronic.

Once again, if you didn't hear the first 15 people saying it, how can a foundation function/get the word out with promotion? It's common sense. This was most likely her own money considering most of it was spent before the foundation even launched. If it was an album promo scam, why is she still doing it and bringing it on the road for her new tour? Seriously, you're doing the most only posting in threads that have to do with Gaga.
