What was the deal with Madonna and Gaga - did they ever meet after Born This Way dropped or did they contact each other? I got the impression Madonna disliked Gaga a great deal more than her interview candour let on.

I was in the room when Gaga played the Born This Way demo to some people in the Haus (She didn't really share it directly with me but being around her I was often times always in their business.) And I never connected that it sounded like Express Yourself. Gaga had asked Madonna to be on Born This Way the album and was turned down, I'm not sure why but I think it has to do with Madonna working on an album. After she was denied a feature from Madonna, Born This Way sounded a lot more like express yourself. I'M NOT SAYING this is why, but it was a funny coincidence I thought. A month or 2 after the release of her single, Gaga got an email or text that said "Love the new single. Glad I helped you write it" or something along those lines. Gaga didn't reply because she didn't know if it was actually Madonna. She felt it was because they somehow had her email/# but it was from an unfamiliar phone number. I was fired before this happened but I remember reading that Madonna was covering Born This Way on her tour so I guess their situation turned sour real quick.
yes so gaga was hurt by madonna's rejection so she went and purposely made her lead single sound like express yourself. what an irrational theory to claim considering that the copying accusations have greatly hurt gaga's career and reputation since..
and monsters are seriously the worst trying to make it seem like it's a madonna fan pretending to be her assistant. the person is DRAGGING M and PRAISING gaga to the heavens on that AMA.
