Honey the MAIN reason why slavery was banned in Britain was because of the Industrial Revolution. Agriculture became too bothersome and expensive in the minds of the bourgeois capitalists of the 17th and 18th centuries. Go pick up a damn book.

I never said the current generation wasn't affected by their predecessor's decisions. I said they are not responsible. There's a big difference

for example, if my mother owned slaves, I shouldn't be responsible for her decisions. However it is another subject on whether I was affected by that or not.
