Yeah, in these depositions, which can last hours depending on the lawyers taking statements, they ask you all kinds of questions like "Have you ever gone to school at _____?", "Is your mother named _______?", "Do you currently work at _____?" before even getting to relevant questions about the case. They do it so they can 1.) throw you off with case-relevant questions so you're more likely to slip up once they blind-side you, and 2.) gauge if your tone or body language changes when they ask you non-straightforward factually based questions (ie. "Do you know that ______ is illegal?") so they can catch you in a lie or shift blame. There really are ways around these without losing it, but their goal is to get you frustrated so you come off as defensive, which can be an indicator of guilt in court. Looks like they got to him.

He doesn't seem even marginally interested in music, though, that's the difference. Miley wants to be a recording artist. I don't think he ever cared about music for a second. He made his money so I doubt he cares if he ever puts an album out again.

In his defense,

These questions were DEFINITELY out of line, and had NOOOOO significance to what he is being charged with, which was the DUI.

So, I don't blame him honestly for getting mad. I would be too. The Selena question was out of line. It had no relevance. This was more a interview then deposition. His attitude was awful from the start, but I don't blame him for snapping off once those out-of-topic questions were asked.
