Well The baby is crying and just letting it all out.
K$Ellie - Ke$ha
The Harold Song
Quote:
I picked The Harold Song for this round because it's one of Kesha's saddest songs. The lyrics are very personal for her since they are about her ex boyfriend.
"They say that true love hurts, well this could almost kill me. Young love murder, that is what this must be. I would give it all to not be sleeping alone."
Lippy - Nelly Furtado
Cry
Quote:
Cry, Cry like a baby...that's the lyrics that is mentioned during the song. Describes the picture perfectly imo Let It All Out
CrazyCat - Miley Cyrus
Stay
Quote:
Well, I tried to live without you
But tears fall from my eyes
I'm alone and I feel empty
God, I'm torn apart inside

Say Something (with A Great Big World)
Quote:
For this round I chose Say Something because it's such a sad song about someone who ignored someone else in a relationship. Christina's vocals added even more soul to this song. Also, I also chose this song because of this video. It's so sweet and adorable

Ignorance
Quote:
ALRIGHT. Now at first sight, how could such a hardcore emo song about being ignored and left out by your peers, be related an innocent picture of a baby crying? Well, why do babies cry? It's cos they want or need something. And they need a form of communication, and since they can't speak, they cry. And the grown ups don't understand what in the world does the baby want and most of the time they just need to sleep or that they're just plain naughty. So ain't there a form of ignorance on the part of the parents (though it's obviously not as serious as being ostracized) ?

More Than A Memory
Quote:
All too often we see couples refer to each other as "Baby". And all too often we see relationships that end on either a bad note or are left hanging in balance. That's what I see behind the picture this round. I see the crying baby as a symbol to a relationship that ended on a bad or rough note. And the song that Carly has that represents my interpretation is "More Than a Memory". The song is about a guy that Carly had a thing with. Things went well and it almost got to the point of getting serious, but then it ended on a bad note that caused them to go their separate ways. Carly feels guilty over letting him go and she doesn't even know what she did to make things so bad between them. When they run into each other again, it's clear they have a conversation about their relationship and she asks them if they were meant to be, no matter how lame her apology is. It's clear to me that Carly had spent some time crying in her bed over this because she thought they were meant to be.
Dancehall Queen - Beyoncé
Blue (ft. Blue Ivy)
Quote:
A loving song by Beyoncé dedicated to her baby daughter Blue Ivy. If that white baby's mom can sing it would be an appropriate song to sing to him to stop him from crying or to express her love for him. If she can't, she can just play Bey and mime along.

The Child is Gone
Quote:
For this round we had a picture of a crying baby, which immediately made me think of The Child Is Gone. While it makes sense literally with this picture, it also makes sense figuratively. The Child Is Gone is about losing your innocence and realizing you've changed from before, an experience that we've all gone through that can be very tough. Thus, a crying baby is in both senses very appropriate in juxtaposition with The Child Is Gone.

New Born
Quote:
I chose this song cuz it talks about that change when kids have to face the real world, in a sense that they are new born to the 'new world' and have to deal with all the emotions and responsibilities. A baby's cry is the most natural and honest thing in the world which is never faked. So i related it to this song because when you are alone in the real world for the first time, there is a whole pool of new born emotions and thoughts and motives in your mind. After the veil of childhood is lifted, a person is introduced to the world again as a new born and alot of times unwittingly.. stuff happens that makes you want to cry like a baby.
