That is my favorite game, ever.
It improved on the first one in every possible way: Better world rebuilding, less shallow plot, less clunky combat.
The world, the recruitment system, the character/weapon customization, photographs, inventions, golf, fishing, etc.
Speaking of Jrpg's im still pressed about the fact that they've payed The Legend of Dragoon dust all these years. Could have been a successful franchise

!! One of my top 10 favorite games of all time. I don't think they ever explained why it didn't get a sequel. It sold ~2 million and got decent acclaim despite being labeled a FF7 knockoff + having MESSY translation.
The Mr.Freeze boss battle in Arkham City is one of the most well done/thought out boss battles ever. It's a bit tedious but it was such an accomplishment and is one of the games focal points.

Fantastic game - Rose is simply iconic. As was Meru and Albert. I always wondered if the Japanese version had such a shoddy script or if it was a terrible localization though. It makes it hard to go back to. The battle system is so freaking good though.

Im not sure of all time but its definitely in my top 10 rpgs. I personally think its better than FF7.

While I'm digging through my CD copies looking for Dark Cloud 1 and 2, let's talk about another great JRPG game that hasn't seen the light of day in over a decade now. Many consider it to be the greatest rpg of the original Playstation (certainly in the top two imho) but man is it a bitch to find.
I hope one day they hear our plea and decide to do something with the series
Dart was almost in Playstation Royale or w/e it was, so the series is still in their mind
