He is right and it's probably the reason why I'm loving it also. The vocals at the beginning and during the verses has Britney's "Gimme More" vibe, the vocoder and the song pattern is very Daft Punk-ish which resembles Britney's "Piece Of Me". It's a song that Britney would do. Rihanna herself has said several times that she was addicted to "Blackout".
