Lol Pharrell's whole deal is charisma, it just doesn't translate over to any of the songs on his album.

In retrospect both TM and CRTFY were so unecessary (for Rihanna). Most of her successful collabs felt like they were released at the right time but these 2 were just so pointless and non eventful (her parts in them are good though)

It really was both Pharrell and Chad Hugo who was the brains behind the Neptunes and when Pharrell stepped out of picture, he won five grammys as a solo artist, was nod for an Oscar, have two big hits in 2013, have a successful clothing line and slaying with Happy.

She would have gotten two back to back multi-week worldwide #1s if she recorded both solo and released them as the first two singles.
And that y'all opinion about G I R L because I'm not that type of stan that be pressed on somebody because they don't like the album when all it matter at the end of day is that I enjoy the album.
