I hope Gaga's next album really delivers lyrically and musically a la The Fame Monster, with a nice concept. Her label probably will keep her on check after this underperformance, and I think she's gonna try and make music to succeed this time since ARTPOP wasn't what she expected commercially. Even though that's what we said about Born This Way
I just think she thought ARTPOP was a good concept and that everyone would be here for her art but reality is the GP doesn't care about Koons or Inez & Vinoodth and that everything backfired so she felt bad no one appreciated her concept and the meltdowns/depression started coming.
If love her, and if she wanted to be involved more in the visual arts world (sculptures, paintings, Koons, I&V) she could've branched out to that instead of music a while ago, but instead she's trying to change the rules of pop by bringing those elements into the music. She tried to be commercial and revolutionary at the same time and failed in both ends, but I hope she comes back stronger
