If Russia invades Ukraine, the US will go to war. UK would side with US and China would side with Russia. That would be scary because Russia and China are 2 of the 3 big countries out there.
I'm a bit worried actually...

The U.S. having the largest and most armed military in the world along with the U.K., which isn't too bad would handle the wanna-be U.S. country and the least liked country in the world easily.

North Korea could EASILY side with Russia and China given their political relations during the past decades as opposed to the ones with the US if we are gonna speak in terms on who'd ally with who.

"Invading" a country is like going two centuries back in time.

I'm not justifying, but Russia isn't intervening because they want some natural resource (which is a major US reason to oppress other countries).

Aren't Russia just going to claim back their 'Russian' part of Ukraine? The east, where the public are Russian speaking and are positive towards Russia?
Also, don't Russia already have troops based in this part of Ukraine, similar to how the US/UK have troops based in countries around the globe like in Cyprus, Germany ect...
I don't know if this is the media trying to spin it into something much more catastrophic like world war, where it is probably something of a lower tone. Although I am not saying what Russia are doing is in anyway 'Good'.
Maybe they have good intentions to claim and rescue apart of Ukraine that supports Russia in the aims of helping both the people and their own selfish selves?

The ignorance
The US didn't invade to claim the land, they already gave it back, Russia is trying to take part of another country for themselves

Serious question, why are Obama, Merkel, etc even talking to Putin, I'd just ignore him and take him down when he really uses force or claims that part of the Ukraine, he's attention whoring and they are giving it to him
Also.. what has happened over the past two weeks has proven to me the European Union, UN, and NATO should disband, cuz they have literally failed

Because Krimea prime called Putin for help. If your friend needs help, will you help him?

Don't the Crimean people want to be part of Russia anyways? Wouldn't it just be easier to give it to them?

That could've been a solution if Putin had just waited.... There even is a date for a referendum on that subject, so I don't get why he didn't wait in the first place... After what he did the world should make it a point at all costs not to let him get it

New Ukrainian government made a statement that they will not acknowledge Crimean autonomy anymore, what was followed by armed conflicts in the area. Thats why Crimean government asked Russia for help. CNN probably forgot to mention this

It was not CNN saying this but a person who lives there. But its a messy situation, lots of different POVs.

People are not in danger there as of now, the conflicts were small and not serious (mostly initiated by extremist group there) but the future of Crimea is very questionable right now. Most people living in the area are Russians and they want to either become a separate country or to be a part of Russia again, while Ukrainian government stated that they will never give up Crimea...
