Rated R was just an advanced GGGB, The rest of her albums blend in together, I can hardly remember which song was from which album, never heard unapologetic but the singles weren't any more diverse than any of her other singles in the past....
Critics called Russian Roulette a risk because like someone said before, it didn't match the style BIP's had going, but it wasn't diverse for her nor risky seeing that she had already established the GGGB image....
The only people embarrassing themselves is delusional fans making grandiose claims for this woman

You can only hear her accent in recent songs, many people thought she was from America when she first came out. Go watch her interview with Jonathan Ross in 2009- he thought she was American, and he's in the entertainment business. You don't think the casual listener thought the same?
Rated R had a completely different sound than GGGB. You don't remember the songs, you've never listened to Unapologetic, and yet you think we're supposed to take your opinions seriously? The sad thing is, you don't even realize how foolish you're making yourself out to be.
Russian Roulette WAS diverse and risky for her. It didn't sound anything like Disturbia or Take a Bow or Umbrella or Don't Stop the Music or anything she had released off GGGB so you're completely wrong about that. Like someone said before, it dealt with a lot of sensitive topics that had never been sung about before, and the video was much darker and violent than anything she had ever done before.
