If this is your opinion or what you've been taught, I feel for you

Using your analogy, the US is Michelle, coming in late and doing nothing. I would say taking all the glory but Michelle didn't do that as the US have.

Actually Russia did most, and because Russia was the US enemy at the time the US wanted them to suffer and let the war make them weaker before 'helping' them out.

They did a lot in Europe, true, but The U.S. Ended the war definitively after decimating Japan with nukes, which they could have used in Germany if worst came to worst

Yeah but in regard to talent and resources, the US gave Russia the war equipments so that Russia could defeat Nazi Germany (lend lease deliveries) -- without it, Nazi Germany would have taken over Russia.

Yes the US helped but I can't deal with the US taking credit as if they won it. If it wasn't for the allied forces in Europe, there wouldn't have been a war for the US to support.
