Russia does not have enough power to defeat the whole world, and win. All they can do is nuke everyone, but they'll be demolished too, so no one would win. Also, American media and companies are far too engraved in the global market, as well as many other countries. The world market is far more global and connected economically than ever before and the world economy could not survive a total world war, on the level of WW3. If Russia didn't have an arsenal of nuclear weapons, countries would of banned together and would of probably even stopped them from having Crimea.
Russia knows the world is scared of a nuclear war, and are ruffling their feathers. America and other CIA of other countries are crafty little bitches though, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't work from the inside out, and have Russias own people overthrow Putin. (Clearly he cannot nuke his own people.)
When leaders get too extreme it's not uncommon to see them revolted against and have their revolutionaries funded by the US and others.
FURTHERMORE, if a full on nuclear war were to come out, we'd all be dead. No one would survive, not even Russia. No telling what weapons they have today as well. The US invest quadruple what any other country does in military weaponry. No telling what they have up their sleeves.

I agree.
I wish they would give a notice before the start of a war, if it happens, so I can take a trip to the moon.

We are trying to play it very safe, but I wouldn't be surprised if Putin somehow get's assassinated, the Russian people start protesting, or even worst, a scary "mysterious disease" starts to cripple Russia and they have to pull out all efforts.
People fail to realize we've probably been at world war 3 for awhile now. Stealth warfare is always the craftiest. I wouldn't even be surprised if this Malaysian plane didn't have some type of involvement. The Indian Sea just so happens to be an ocean with low radar and no way of transponding aircraft easily? Stuff ties together.

What is this BS?
US used the first years of WWII as a way to get themselves from economical crisis, they traded with everyone. Do you know where the oil, gas and steal Nazi Germany needed to keep their war machinery going was from? USA.

The world is too scared to go to war, as it should be. Putin's just a crazy power-hungry turd who knows the rest of the world can't and won't do ****. Diplomacy and resource cut-offs are our only lines of defense. World War III would probably end in utter nuclear disaster. We've gotten too smart for our own good; as a result, we're far more destructive and deadly.

Very true! The way technology has progressed over the past few decades, it makes me wonder what kind of weapons they've developed and haven't shown.
I can't think of any way this situation can be resolved without causing segregation in Ukraine. They could divide the country with a border split in the middle, but that would never happen
