I tried using this tutorial ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40_magfGgvI) to start trying the program but I can't even get through creating a defaut Smogon Pokémon. When I get to GTS I don't get the Pokémon I uploaded and the problem isn't the DNS since I changed it on my console.
What's that Secret ID? I don't think I changed anything like that, that might be the problem  Please teach me? |
Okay, lemme see. First you need your Secret ID for the game to confirm that one Pokemon is in fact yours. Create an account on this site -->
www.pokecheck.org and change your primary DNS to the one there. Next, you can upload any Pokemon on the game's GTS and you should get an error message, but that's the way it's supposed to go. On pokecheck the pkm you uploaded should appear under ''Manage my Pokemon'' and your Secret ID (SID) will appear there as well. Next, go to
http://pokegts.us/5thGen_Upload.aspx change your DNS once again to that one and you can then create any legit looking Pokemon on PokeGen (the SID helps) and upload it there. Now go to GTS and retrieve it, it's just it.
I haven't tried PokeGen'd Pokemon with PokeBank but they should be able to go through.
