No, iTunes doesn't give the option to gif the album, I wanted to gift it to a friend but it doesn't let you. Is there a reason for that?

If it doesn't download you can always email them. But I think people mean it doesn't download right away...not that it NEVER downloads.

The numbers are surely inaccurate. There's no real way to guage preorders. I only believe it if it comes from a legit website like HDD or Billboard.
