Drake's new music is the only one in the OP I can even stand (I actually really like a few of his 'chilled' songs), but apparently he's not R&B, so I will say yes. I think R&B is garbage. Then again, I mostly listen to electronic and dance so I would think that.

Hmm Miguel and Frank are actually pretty good. But I the excessive hype puts me off so I haven't gotten into Miguel yet.

Drake is HIP-HOP first and foremost. A talented rapper. He has R&B undertones on his albums, but he's not R&B and will never be.

Are you kidding me? As a huge Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B stan, Drake is first and foremost a Rapper, who from time to time does a few mid-tempo R&B bops or a mixture of both Rap & Hip-Hop records with R&B influences by providing his [auto-tuned] vocals for the chorus.

He's NOT an R&B artist whatsoever but you can say some of his slow jams are cute.

This! Just because an artist is black does not mean it is R&B, and that's why the "genre" is struggling. Any artist that's black and releases music is labeled R&B.
