Exactly!! now Usher being compared to newbies like The Weeknd, Trey Songz and Chris Brown..most recent Jason Derulo (the insult).
Its hard watching folks on twitter saying "I used to be a big Usher fan back in the day, but Chris has taken his place," " Grandpa Usher better not dance in the video, Chris will slay him," "Another artist that Chris is trying to help revive their career," "Usher can't even dance anymore," "Usher really faded hard," "Usher is looking old, Tameka sucked the life out of him," "Usher could have been a legend, but he messed up his career"
Nnnnn my two faves Usher and Mariah have gotten a biT too complacent with their careers they need to revamp.
JT was also so huge because he worked with the right persons... if you work with Jay Z, Drake you can't do something wrong + he was on tour with Jay Z, which was genius... but Usher works mostly with the same persons like Pharrell, Jeezy, Ludacris... why not Drake, Kanye, Jay Z, Eminem, Rihanna, Adele etc. someone who's big in the scene with a crazy fanbase...
He works with flops (except Pharrell... for now) that need him more when his own career is hanging by a thread.
For years Usher fans didn't have a fanpage like other big singers because Usher sued his biggest fansite for dragging Tameka (look how that ended ). I think that even contributed to losing a lot of his fans in droves and its hard for them to come back. He would have been so big after Confessions, but he had to mess it up for that woman. An usherfan site just opened last month, I hope more Usher fans can be able to discuss on the board (that's if Usher stops all these antics). so far ATRL is the only place where more Usher fans chat, aside from twitter
Im still shocked at Looking 4 Myself's low sales. I bought it the day it came out. It's not cohesive but I liked it. I guess people are here for him when he does R&B and hip hop more than electronica.
This was obviously that we'll see tweets/reactions like that, that's why I'll never understand why the hell he's getting on the CB root again, which is a big mistake in my opinion espeicllay why NOW??? where people expect a great comeback... it's like Eminem would do something with Macklemore, Beyonce with Rihanna or Mariah Carey with Ariana Grande or the best
comparison for some years ago Britney and Christina just STOP Usher seriously.
EXACTLY, he is so lost

His present Character and antics contributed to the low sales.

I'll never understand this. Ludacris is the only one with Pharrell and Ludacris just because of the success of the movie "Fast & Furious". Something must change there... he must collab with bigger names especially with artists who're currently very hot in the scene.

The good thing on Mariah is people still call her a Legend (which she is) because she plays her cards right

L4M could be one of his best albums ever. This album was so amazing with a great mix but it flopped because of his own mistakes + team.
even when you knew that everyone loved how you looked here
Look the (3rd pic) is what I meant with "he started everything right" but now he's starting to replay his mistakes like the L4M era see (2nd pic)... people was taking him so serious where he looked like a good looking gentleman on the (3rd pic) but now he starts with that mess look again... I don't get it seriously... why he needs to show him to the public like a clown if he can look so fresh/good like on the (3rd pic)..........................
Usher has kept the same style since 2008. Nobody is here for leather jackets and high top sneakers anymore lol and jeans. He should dress casual yet classy.

I know I saw comments like "Usher is looking delicious again, I might start stanning again," or "When is his album coming out, I might just have to buy it"
Oh yeah someone has just started a thread, Atrl is about to drag him lol
This is the kind of statement I am talking about, "Pharrell is a style icon, Usher on the other hand is not and looks foolish." Everyone has forgotten about him being an innovator or a style icon because of his antics

Yeah so true.

Look that's what I meant... there is nothing where you can defend Usher because the hat thing looks stupid and not good so if the hat thing would look good we could defend him...

Yeah exactly... even ATRL user loved his look
Atrl folks have started noticing that he is becoming a mess
Let's hope that he just lost a bet or something like that and will release something next month + bring the Confessions look back otherwise we'll get another flop era sad to say this but it's just the truth and we all know it.
1:13 This girl is a racist... she hugs both but not Usher she doesn't even acknowledge him and just look at Usher's reaction he was like: F*ck that b*tch
NBC singing competition “The Voice” returned on a dominant note, with the two-hour spring season-opener at a hefty 9.2 rating/14 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, this is up by six percent from the year-ago season-premiere (8.7/13 on Monday 3/25/13) and is the top-rated Monday installment of “The Voice” since 9/23/13 (also a 9.2/14). That 9.2 last September translated into 14.98 million viewers and a 5.1 rating/13 share among adults 18-49 (based on the live plus same day data). Welcome back, Shakira and Usher (and congrats to Mark Burnett, who knows a thing – or two or three – about producing smash hits!).
^^^^
Final numbers aren't in yet but Shakira/usher combo continues to slay
Good numbers
Honestly I think him working with Chris is a mistake. I wouldn't pay attention to the online stans they're just bitter that Usher spoke what was on his mind. But he does need to do something quick. I understand he wants this album to be really good but he needs to be in the pulbic more often. And he either needs to get rid of Jen as his stylist or they need to stop trying to dress him like the L4M era. I don't listen to the stans here, they're angry over nothing.

The problem is he presents himself wrong. People are calling him fool, troll, clown etc. because of his styling or the hat thing....who should take him serious with that hat thing or who took him serious with the black/red style which he had over and over again last era? No one not even the own stans took him serious. Usher needs to be more serious not just about his albm also about his look which is one of the most important things in these days especially when people see him now more on The Voice.
TBH, I want the Usher back, which made not just trends about his music also about his clothes, styling, look etc. he looked so amazing in the beginning now he's starting to ruin his image again like the L4M era and this needs to stop.
