This isn't country, but I think Kelly could easily do songs like this for her country album and give them a country flare. This is one of my favorite covers she's ever done and its severely underrated tbh….I had never even heard the original version before hearing Kelly's. not me finding about a demo when I am at school.....
Anyway, this morning I was on bus and on my way to school and the driver had the radio on and they began to play Halo. I was like 'not this' and was prepared to be forced to listen to it. In the moment Beyoncé started to sing, the driver immediately changed the station and didn't went back to the former station before the song was over. I am pretty sure he stans for Kelly and Already Gone and couldn't listen to that demo version.
I was in my car driving and i put on the Hot AC station, The Fray was on, then it was KC with "Stronger" and they started talking about Idol and how even after 13 seasons she was still the best, and also talked about "That cheesy movie FJTK" lol And it reminded me also of the 2012 Summer Tour just cause it was The Fray and then KC
