She should be classified as such in my opinion. She can make a song a hit, she can write a hit, she has proven herself more than enough at this point. She did it again with Timber, obviously her chorus is what really makes it work.

She has Top 10s and MULTIPLE-Platinum singles every era, and was just on TOP of the worldwide charts just a couple of weeks ago, when everyone considered her dead. This is something that most other pop girls struggle to achieve.

it's a combination of critical acclaim,chart success,touring receipts and good album sales therefore kesha is disqualified

Fellow Animals need to know that there is a line between being a loyal stan and just being ignorant. She was obviously a major force in 2009-2011, but she's lost that steam now. Timber was a hit, sure, but getting a featured hit is one thing and having a successful era is another. Die Young was also a hit and look how the Warrior era turned out.

She used to be an A-list pop girl, she's now around a B-list pop girl, and if her next era slays she'll probably go back to being an A-list pop girl. Lets not act like artists can't fluctuate between tiers. I'd consider Gaga a B-list pop girl right now too and she's always been A-list.

I kind of see her as a B-List pop star ala Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus etc... I dont think she is setting out to be a huge global superstar though, obviously success is important but I think she genuinely would rather please a more loyal, smaller fanbase.
