pull out those dusty receipts all you want, homegirl's sales are tragic. still seen as a joke by the GP.
that doesn't mean her debut era wasn't impressive, or that she can't turn things around (though i doubt that very much if she doesn't radically improve the quality of her music + image), but only delusional K stans could still think that she's still a major pop girl in 2014.
i will, however, credit her for having some cultural impact that most people have to concede in retrospect. this is a nice article that came out around the time Dirty Love was released
