Mr. Mr. sounds like an album track, quite disappointing. I'll listen to the mini in a bit.
I agree with you Jack. Bauer, the breakdown and chorus>>, but its wayYYY towards the end of the track for it to save the song tbh. Tiffany and Taeyeon though, their high notes
However.. I'm on my 3rd listen and its starting to sound better.
Yeah it's huge shame it only occupies the last minute and 20 seconds of the song, the track could have been one of their best if it dominated the entire thing, like the teaser led us to believe.
Still, I'll take a lesser-slaying The Boys with Girl's Day-circa-Something vocals any day.
it's like they had a perfectly good thing going then
K-pop as a whole is "so show tuney" though. I mean I can understand why you feel that way/respect it but it baffles me a little. As someone who's on stage a lot, I can verify that for performers key changes are like the greatest things ever.

I'ma try not to get up in arms about this cause I don't want to be "that person" but nothing about it is random Tiffany and Taeyeon both change keys during their adlibs so the following musical key change very much makes sense.
Blueberry, defender of theatrical elements in pop music, signing off.
