"Love Me" is cute, but I must note how it brings up a tiny problem I have with Prism as a whole.
When Katy talked about how the album was filled with different colors and emotions, I also expected some musical variety, and from that, a little bit of experimentation. However, the only songs to really successfully experiment imo were "Legendary Lovers" with worldbeat/indian music, "Dark Horse" with hip hop and trap, and "Walking On Air" with 90s dance/house.
A lot of the songs on the album toy with certain genres, but never go full out with them. Like, “Birthday” is kinda disco/funk, “Love Me” tries to do slick “Toxic”-like dance pop, “Ghost” experiments with orchestral sounds, “This Moment” attempts to do synthpop like Robyn, “By the Grace of God” tries contemporary christian music, etc. I believe Prism would've been a better album if she tried to experiment more.
